Volunteer!

You can make a real difference by volunteering and at the same time make dreams come true.

  • Volunteers are important to the people we support.

  • Volunteers are a major part of ensuring that people lead rich full lives in our community.

  • Volunteers share in experiences and opportunities that might otherwise not be possible.

  • Volunteers are also the basis of our board and committee structure.

  • We can also benefit from your experience in volunteering within our administration office.

We can offer:

  • Training opportunities

  • Volunteer work experience

  • Access to our resource library

  • Community involvement

  • Fun through recreation with others

  • Opportunities to develop friendships

  • The opportunity to expand your résumé

  • The opportunity to put a smile on someone's face.

Community is no different for people with disabilities than for any of us. It is the free space where people think for themselves, dream their dreams and come together to create and celebrate their common humanity.

Volunteers play a large role in helping people with disabilities become part of the community.

Join Our Board of Directors!

We are looking for volunteer Board members to join our newly-created Joint Alliance Board.  The Board provides governance oversight for both Carebridge Community Support and Community Living Association (Lanark County). Key areas include strategic planning, quality, CEO oversight, and financial stewardship.

Board members bring a variety of skills to the table.  More importantly, they bring a passion for improving care in our region. On average, the time requirement is approximately 4 to 8 hours per month.

If you want to make a real difference in your community, send your expression of interest and resume to Kaitlyn Nault at knault@carebridge.ca.
